Overview
This is used to help criminal justice professionals predict the likelihood of domestic violence. It is a vital tool which can help determine the degree to which an individual poses a threat to his spouse, children, family members, or other people involved. This training gives background to the tool and how it is used effectively. It is designed specifically for people with experience of DVA work or for those who have attended the DVA Awareness course.
Suitability
These courses are suitable for people who work with offenders or those who work with vulnerable groups who may also come into contact with the criminal justice system (CJS), such as young people or people who are homeless, have issues of substance misuse or mental health issues. The course content is valuable for both frontline workers and managers, regardless of the amount of experience they have in the CJS.
