Family Services – Children Impacted By Domestic Abuse

We work with children and young people, and their families, in a multi-agency approach to provide early intervention and specialist programmes. We are developing resilience in children and young people living with domestic abuse.

Our services include providing tailored, specialist support to meet the holistic needs of children and young people (aged 11-24) who are impacted by domestic abuse in the home. This includes therapeutic interventions, including trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma-focused group work and resilience sessions. We also deliver Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence (CAPV) programmes, working with the child, parent(s), siblings, schools, children’s social care and early intervention teams, and programmes for children and young people who recognise they are abusive in their relationships, helping them change their behaviour.
