
Overview
AEW is a single one-to-one session, suitable for any adult offender who has assaulted an emergency worker. The programme addresses some of the motivating factors, and explores the reasoning behind them, offering alternatives to violence. AEW is a 1.5 hour long course, delivered online, over Zoom. The offender pays £110 to attend.
Course Objectives
- Raise awareness of the consequences of the offence on the offender and others
- Reduce the likelihood of reoffending
- Increase awareness of emotional management strategies
- Support the offender in identifying triggers and warning signs
